The restaurant was good for lunch, I tried excellent dishes. Had a shower and towels in the bathroom. The location was perfect, within a close distance from Chirripo National Park. The hotel was an excellent base for enjoying a relaxing area.

This place has very friendly staff and a good location in the jungle, the food is fine, and they have a variety of meals, I would book again.

We stayed at a lodge near the Chirripo peak and it was the perfect starting point for our hike. The lodge had everything we needed to prepare, including rental gear and warm clothes. The meals were filling and reasonably priced, and the view from the porch was beautiful. The shared showers had wonderful warm water, and the dorm-like rooms were simple but comfortable. The owners were incredibly helpful, even driving us to the porters' house. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like a noisy neighbor and old bedding, our overall experience was great. I would definitely recommend this lodge for hikers heading up Chirripo.

Located at the start of the Chirripo trail, perfect for backpackers. Great breakfast provided at 4.30am, ideal for early morning hikes. Free parking available with ample space. Friendly and helpful staff. Surrounding nature is beautiful and peaceful.

hotel uran in rivas exceeded my expectations during this luxurious holiday. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, accommodating us during our stay. the rooms were comfortable and spacious, and we even had our laundry done at a reasonable price.
Hangers/hooks/rack in room missing.
